Wedding rings are one of life’s most meaningful purchases, and more people are now choosing handmade pieces over ready-made options. While every store offers something unique, here are five standout features that make MITUBACI TOKYO truly special.
1. Dedicated Artisan Support Throughout
Expert Guidance in Realizing Your Jewelry Vision
At MITUBACI TOKYO, each customer group is paired with a dedicated artisan for one-on-one support. Your artisan will guide you through the design options and help you craft your ideal ring at your own pace. With their attentive support, even those new to handmade jewelry can approach the process with confidence.
We carefully craft each ring to fit the exact size of your finger. Half sizes like 10.5 or 7.5 are available, and we can also accommodate subtle adjustments—slightly larger or smaller than standard full sizes.
Comprehensive and Long-Term After-Sales Service
We offer comprehensive after-sales support, including retexturing and resizing services.
We offer free polishing services at any time—whether it's restoring the shine of a glossy ring using a buffing machine or reapplying a matte finish with sandblasting processing. Feel free to wear your ring every day with peace of mind.
First-time resizing is free of charge.
2. Premium Materials, Superior Quality, and Lasting Comfort
Smooth Wearing Comfort

We craft our rings using a round-profile metal wire known as “Marusen.” This rounded shape creates a smooth surface that’s less likely to snag, ensuring a gentle, comfortable fit for everyday wear. Through meticulous polishing, the natural beauty of the material is brought to life, delivering a refined finish you can cherish for years to come.
Live Demonstration of Precision Lathe Cutting

While the warmth of handmade textures remains ever popular, the sleek, modern finish of precision lathe cutting has been gaining increasing attention in recent years.
At MITUBACI TOKYO, we use a high-precision lathe (senban) to craft three signature base shapes for our lathe-cut rings: Oval, Alps, and Mare.
Once the base shape is formed, you can personalize your ring further with decorative details such as groove lines or milgrain accents.
This is the unique appeal of MITUBACI TOKYO—creating a refined, high-quality ring with your own hands, on par with those found in bridal boutiques or department stores.
3. Exquisite Metal Hues, Each with Distinctive Brilliance
In addition to Platinum 950—the timeless classic for bridal rings—we offer four elegant 18K gold variations: yellow gold, rose gold, champagne gold, and lime gold. Select the perfect metal to match your personal taste, skin tone, and lifestyle. Ring widths are fully customizable as well, ranging from a delicate 1.7mm to bold options like 4mm or 5mm, allowing you to craft a ring with just the right presence and balance.
You’re welcome to choose your preferred material after trying on the wide range of samples available during your visit.
Ring width can also be decided in-store, based on what feels and looks best on your hand.

4. Check Prices in Advance with Ease
Wondering how much handmade wedding rings really cost? You’re not alone—and we’re here to help. At MITUBACI TOKYO, our website offers an easy-to-use price simulation tool. Simply choose your preferred design, material, and options to get an instant estimate. With a clear idea of the cost before your visit, you can plan your dream ring with confidence and peace of mind.

Peace of Mind with Guaranteed Pricing
At some stores, prices may vary depending on the final weight of the ring or the precious metal market rate on the day. However, at MITUBACI TOKYO, prices are set based on the width of the ring, so you can know the cost in advance before your visit.
5. The Joy of Taking Your Jewelry Home That Day
One of the standout features of MITUBACI TOKYO is that, even when adding diamonds or birthstones to your ring, you can usually take it home the very same day. This is a huge plus for customers who want their ring in hand for a special occasion—whether it’s a milestone anniversary, your wedding day, or the day you register your marriage.
Very few shops in Japan have multiple in-house artisans skilled in gemstone setting, making this one of MITUBACI TOKYO’s most unique and proudest offerings.

Gemstones are set securely using the metal that surrounds them.
First, a small drill is used to create a precise indentation in the ring, sized to fit the gemstone.

Next, the stone is set using a specialized beading tool, also known as "nanaco."

Choose from three stone setting designs to personalize your jewelry!
4-point Setting

This is the simplest and classic gemstone setting style—perfect for those who appreciate a clean, modern look.
You can choose to set multiple gemstones for a more luxurious look.
Flower Setting
This charming setting style features small metal prongs that resemble flower petals gently holding the gemstone. With more contact points securing the stone, it's ideal for those who love a cute, delicate look or want extra stability to prevent the gemstone from coming loose, even with everyday wear.

Star Setting
This popular and elegant decorative style beautifully enhances the brilliance of both the gemstone and the surrounding metal. Star setting requires a ring width of at least 2.5mm.

Secret Stone

You can also choose to set a birthstone inside your ring!
To keep your partner close at all times, many couples opt to subtly place their partner’s birthstone on the inner band. For a meaningful touch, you might also choose a blue sapphire or ice blue diamond inside the ring, inspired by the “something blue” tradition said to bring happiness to brides.
Multiple birthstones can be set as well—placing both yours and your partner’s birthstones side by side is a beautiful way to symbolize your journey ahead together.
*Please note that inner stones are set using a 4-point setting only.
*If you'd like to set five or more diamonds or other stones, please contact us in advance.
