MITUBACI is run by Fujimori Co., Ltd., a small jewelry workshop in Sangenjaya, Tokyo that has been making high-quality bridal jewelry since 1970. Every piece of Fujimori jewelry is a one-of-a-kind work of craft, handmade by an artisan, and is highly regarded not only in Japan but also overseas, including Singapore and Taiwan. Diamonds are evaluated using an international standard known as the 4Cs: Carat, Color, Clarity, and Cut—each representing a key aspect of the diamond’s quality.
MITUBACI uses natural diamonds of the same high grade as those found in custom-made jewelry. For diamonds ranging from 0.1ct to 0.3ct, we provide stones that are F color or higher, SI-1 clarity or higher, and Triple Excellent cut or better.
For diamonds 0.5ct and above, you can choose the grade based on your budget. A certificate of authenticity is included as proof of quality.
Carat is the unit used to measure a diamond's weight; 1 carat equals 0.2 grams.
Diamonds are classified between D (colorless) and Z (light yellow); MITUBACI offers diamonds with F color or higher, which is classified as "colorless".
Clarity is an evaluation of a diamond's transparency. It is broadly divided into six categories. In descending order of evaluation, they are FL, IF, VVS, VS, SI, and I. They are further divided within each category, comprising a total of 11 grades.
The GIA Diamond Clarity Scale has six categories, some of which are subdivided, totaling to 11 grades.
MITUBACI offers diamonds that are SI-1 (inclusions can be seen under 10x magnification) or higher.
Cut is an evaluation of a diamond's balance, symmetry, and polish. While color and clarity are the innate properties of a diamond, cut is an evaluation of the workmanship. The cut is divided into five grades: Excellent, the highest grade available at MITUBACI, and Triple Excellent, the highest grade for overall evaluation, symmetry, and polish.

Made to order by artisans, yet priced the same as our handmade engagement rings. This may surprise you, but at MITUBACI we believe high-quality bridal jewelry doesn't always have to carry a high price. Fujimori has long produced wedding rings for many bridal jewelry brands. MITUBACI, which Fujimori launched itself, draws on that experience and expertise, and on the strength of having our own workshop, to offer fine jewelry, which tends to be expensive, at a more approachable price. We believe the most important value of an engagement ring lies not in its price tag but in the feelings the two of you put into it, and we deliver high-quality rings made with the artisan skill Japan is proud of.
Visit the MITUBACI atelier and you can choose your engagement ring while seeing our actual workshop. English support is also available, so you need not worry if you are not comfortable in Japanese. If you would like it, please tell us when you make your reservation, and we will do our best to arrange it.
Once you have found a design you love, our artisan will make your ring on the spot. It is a rare chance to watch an artisan at work. The process takes around 3 hours.
Try on your ring, fresh from the artisan's hands. If the size is not quite right, we will adjust it free of charge. Any stones or options you have chosen are also ready the same day. You can take your ring home that day, collect it the next day or later, or have it delivered to your home or hotel.
You can also order an engagement ring online from home. This works well if you live far away or are short on time. Choose your materials and options while checking the final price with our price simulator. Your ring will be shipped to your home within 3 weeks of your order.
We also ship outside Japan (we have shipped to North America, Europe, and other regions). If you wish, we can lend you a ring gauge and a finished sample free of charge before you order, so you can order with confidence.

There are very few workshops in Japan that can complete a ring on the same day with complex processes such as stone-setting. It is only possible when a place is equipped with professional tools and experienced craftsmen are readily available.

Cleaning and polishing the rings are free for a lifetime. First-time resizing is also free. The second and subsequent times will be charged at a basic price of 5,500 yen per ring (tax included).
Please note that ring resizing may take several working days.

At MITUBACI, each ring is made by a single artisan from start to finish. This is not the most efficient production method, but it is proof that every artisan is responsible and confident in their work.
MITUBACI wedding and engagement rings are made by the Tanzou (forging) process. Rings made by forging are strong and comfortable to wear. In addition, because of the one-by-one manufacturing process, every piece of jewelry is one-of-a-kind and special.
The delicate work of MITUBACI's artisans is not limited to Japan. They also showcase their skills at our sister brand "KOBO" in Singapore. The wedding ring techniques our artisans practice as a matter of course are, to the world, the crystallization of delicate and precise craftsmanship, praised as "just what you'd expect from Japanese artisans." For customers considering our products, we offer a free rental of ring samples and sizer gauges. Check out your favorite textures and order online with confidence. The ring samples are plated with gold and platinum on silver metal, which texture is as close as possible to the final finishes.
Sample rings and ring gauges are lent free of charge (a deposit of 55,000 yen is required as security in case of loss). MITUBACI also covers shipping costs both ways.
The rental period is 14 days from the date of shipment.
