MITUBACI TOKYO is proud to offer five handmade wedding ring workshop features

The wedding ring will be a treasure for the couple for the rest of their lives. More and more couples are seeking handmade rings instead of ready-made ones. While every store has its own charm, MITUBACI TOKYO has a special feature that we can confidently recommend to our customers. In this issue, we would like to take the time to introduce five points we are proud of.

1. a dedicated ring maker who will work closely with the couple

Our professionals will work closely with you to carefully give shape to your wishes.

At MITUBACI TOKYO, each customer receives one-on-one support from a dedicated craftsman. What design should I choose? What kind of metal is used? or "What kind of metal should I use?" or "What are the different types of metals? We will support you in creating your ideal ring at your own pace, so even those who have no experience in handmade rings can tackle the process with confidence.

We can also make half sizes, such as size 10.5 and size 7.5, or even slightly larger or smaller than size 9.

After-sales service that will stand by you for many years to come.

As after-sales service, we also offer refinishing and resizing services.

We can always re-polish a polished ring with a buffing machine or re-blast a matted ring free of charge. Please feel free to use them in your daily life.

First time resizing is free of charge.

2. beautiful finish and comfort of wear created by our attention to materials

Smooth and comfortable to wear

The material we use for our rings is a metal wire with a round cross section, called "Marusen" (round wire). The use of this round wire makes the surface of the ring smoother and less prone to snagging, thus ensuring a gentle and comfortable fit that is less stressful in daily life. In addition, by carefully polishing the ring, the original beauty of the material is highlighted, promising a high quality finish that can be loved for a long time.

Processing with a lathe right in front of your eyes.

In addition to the warm textured finish that can only be achieved by handcrafting, the "lathe process" has been attracting attention in recent years for its sharp and stylish finish.

A lathe is a machine that can cut metal with precision accuracy. The lathe is used to create the three base shapes, "Oval," "Alps," and "Mare.

After the base is in place, decorations called milling or lines can be added.

One of the charms of MITUBACI TOKYO is the ability to create rings that look as sophisticated as those sold at bridal specialty stores and department stores.

3. rich color variation with unique brilliance

In addition to platinum 950, the most popular material for bridal rings, we offer four types of K18 colored gold (yellow gold, pink gold, champagne gold, and lime gold). The perfect material can be selected to match the couple's preference, skin color, and lifestyle. You can also choose the width of the ring from 1.7mm for the narrowest width, and even wider rings of 4mm or 5mm, allowing you to create a ring with the volume you desire.

You can decide which material to choose after trying on the many samples we will have available on the day.

Of course, you can also choose the width after trying it on at the store.

4! Simulation that shows the price

I wonder how much a handmade wedding ring would cost? If you have such concerns, don't worry, MITUBACI TOKYO's website provides a system that allows you to easily simulate the approximate cost by simply selecting the design, materials, and options in advance. Since you can get an idea of the cost before you come to the store, you can consider ring designs with peace of mind.

Use the simulation here.

Peace of mind that prices will not change until the day of the event

Some stores change the price depending on the weight of the finished product or the bullion market on that day, but MITUBACI TOKYO sets the price by the width of the ring, so you can know the price before you come to the store.

5. the joy of taking home a gem on the same day

One of the main features of MITUBACI TOKYO is that customers can basically take their rings home on the same day, even when diamonds, birthstones, or other gemstones are clipped to the ring. This is a very welcome feature for customers who want to have their rings in hand immediately, even on special anniversaries, on the day of registry, or the day before the wedding.

This is the greatest feature that MITUBACI TOKYO can boast, as there are only a few stores in Japan that have more than one craftsman with the skills to fasten gemstones.

The gemstones are not glued together, but are held in place by the metal around the gemstones.

Use a small drill to make an indentation in the ring to fit the size of the gemstone.

Fastening is done with a special tool called a nanaco.

Three types of gemstone clasps are also available.

4-point fastening

This is the simplest way to fasten a gemstone. We recommend this method for those who prefer rings with a stylish look.

Three stones can be clipped in a row to create a gorgeous impression.

Flower clasp

This is a cute clasping method in which the small circles holding the gemstones look like flower petals. Since there are many clasping points, we recommend this type of flower clasp for those who like cute things or who want to support the gemstone firmly so that it will not come off even if it receives a shock.

Hoshidome (star-shaped clasp used to hold a star)

It is not too cute and glamorous. This is a very popular fastening method. We ask that rings be at least 2.5mm wide.

Secret Stone

Birthstones can also be placed inside the ring.

To remind you of your partner's presence at all times, you can subtly clasp your partner's birthstone inside, or, in honor of "Something Blue" (a bride who wears something blue will be happy), a blue sapphire or ice blue diamond can be clipped inside in a stylish way.

Multiple birthstones can be attached, so you and your partner's birthstones can be attached side by side, giving the impression that you and your partner will walk together from now on.

The only way to fasten the inside is with a 4-point fastening.

If you would like to set more than 5 diamonds or other stones, please contact us in advance.

At MITUBACI TOKYO, we will wholeheartedly assist you in giving shape to your wishes. Why don't you come to our workshop and experience making your one and only special wedding ring? We look forward to seeing you at our store.
