Wedding rings are more than jewelry—they are lifelong treasures. Increasingly, couples are choosing to craft their own rings by hand rather than opting for ready-made pieces. While many studios offer appealing options, MITUBACI Tokyo stands out with special features that we proudly recommend. Here are five reasons our workshops are truly exceptional:
1. Dedicated Ring Artisan Supporting You Every Step
Professional Guidance to Carefully Shape Your Vision into Reality
At MITUBACI Tokyo, each couple is paired with a dedicated artisan who provides one-on-one support throughout the entire ring-making process. From choosing a design to understanding the differences between metals, our skilled craftsmen offer detailed advice at every step. Even for first-time creators, we ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience tailored to your pace.
We also customize the ring size meticulously to fit your fingers perfectly. We can create half sizes, slightly larger or smaller adjustments, and accommodate any special sizing requests to make sure your rings are exactly right.
Comprehensive Aftercare You Can Rely On
We also offer comprehensive aftercare, including refinishing and resizing services.
You can have your polished rings buffed again or reapply blast finishing to matte rings at any time, completely free of charge. Wear them daily with confidence.
Resizing is also free for the first adjustment, ensuring a perfect fit for years to come.
2. Craftsmanship in Materials: Beautiful Finishes and Exceptional Comfort
Smooth, Comfortable Fit

For our rings, we use a material known as rounded wire—metal wire with a rounded cross-section. This choice creates a smooth surface that minimizes snagging and feels gentle on the skin, making the ring comfortable to wear even in everyday life. Each piece is carefully polished to highlight the natural beauty of the metal, resulting in a refined finish designed to be cherished for years to come.
Precision Lathe Work—Right Before Your Eyes

Alongside the warm, handcrafted textures unique to handmade jewelry, we also offer a sharp, modern finish created through lathe machining, a technique gaining increasing attention in recent years.
A lathe (senban) is a precision machine that allows metal to be shaped with exceptional accuracy. Using this method, we form three signature base profiles: Oval, Alps, and Mare.
Once the base shape is complete, additional details such as milgrain or fine line decorations can be added.
One of the unique appeals of MITUBACI Tokyo is the opportunity to craft a ring with your own hands—one that rivals the refined quality and sophistication of rings found at bridal boutiques or luxury department stores.
3. A Wide Selection of Metals and Color Variations, Each with Its Own Distinct Character
For ring materials, we offer not only the classic choice for bridal jewelry—Platinum 950—but also four varieties of 18K colored gold: Yellow Gold, Rose Gold, Champagne Gold, and Lime Gold. You can select the material that best suits your personal taste, skin tone, and lifestyle.
Ring widths are also highly customizable. Starting from a delicate 1.7 mm slim band, you may also choose wider styles such as 4 mm or 5 mm, allowing you to create a ring with the volume and presence you prefer.
You’re welcome to try on a wide selection of samples in-store on the day of your visit, so you can take your time deciding on the material that feels right.
Of course, ring widths can also be tested in person before making your final choice.

4. Know the Cost in Advance: Try Our Easy Price Simulator
Wondering how much handmade wedding rings really cost? If that question has crossed your mind, there’s no need to worry. On our website, you can easily estimate the price in advance by simply selecting your preferred design, materials, and optional details.
This convenient simulation tool lets you get a clear idea of the cost before your visit, so you can take your time exploring ring designs with peace of mind.

Transparent Pricing You Can Trust—No Changes on the Day
Some studios adjust prices based on the finished ring’s weight or the daily metal market rate. At MITUBACI Tokyo, pricing is clearly set according to ring width, so you can know the exact cost before your visit and plan with peace of mind.
5. The Joy of Same-Day Pickup: Your Finished Jewelry, Ready Today
One of the standout features of MITUBACI Tokyo is our ability to offer same-day pickup, even for rings customized with diamonds or birthstones. This is a game-changer for clients who need a high-quality ring immediately—whether it’s for a last-minute anniversary gift, a marriage registration day, or the eve of a wedding.
While most jewelry stores require weeks for stone setting, we have multiple expert craftspeople on-site at all times. This level of immediate, professional service is a rarity in Japan and remains one of the defining strengths of the MITUBACI experience.

Gemstones are not held in place by glue; instead, they are secured by the surrounding metal.
Using precision drills, jewelers create a custom 'seat' or recession in the ring that perfectly matches the gemstone's dimensions.

The stones are meticulously secured using a specialized jewelry tool known as a 'Nanako' (beading tool), a essential instrument for achieving precise grain setting and decorative metal beads.

We also offer three different gemstone setting styles to choose from.
4-point Setting

This is the most minimal and classic gemstone setting. It’s highly recommended for those who prefer a sleek, stylish ring with a refined look.
Setting three gemstones in a row creates a more radiant and eye-catching impression, adding just the right amount of brilliance.
Flower Setting
This charming setting features small rounded prongs that resemble delicate flower petals surrounding the gemstone. With multiple contact points holding the stone securely in place, it offers both a soft, elegant look and excellent durability. Recommended for those who love cute, floral-inspired designs or want extra peace of mind knowing their gemstone is firmly supported and less likely to loosen even with daily wear or impact.

Star Setting
This setting offers a refined yet radiant look—elegant without being overly sweet. It is one of our most popular choices. For this design, we recommend a ring width of 2.5 mm or wider.

Secret Stone

It is also possible to set a birthstone on the inside of the ring.
To keep your partner close at all times, you may choose to discreetly set your partner’s birthstone on the inner band. Another stylish option is to embrace the tradition of “something blue”—said to bring happiness—by setting a blue sapphire or ice blue diamond inside the ring.
Multiple birthstones can also be set. Placing both your own and your partner’s birthstones side by side beautifully symbolizes the journey you will continue to walk together.
※ Inner stone settings are available with a 4-prong setting only.
If you wish to set five or more stones, please consult us in advance.
