Sangenjaya, a town full of charm

History of Sangenjaya Town

The present Sangenjaya got its name in the mid-Edo period.

Originally, this area was called "Taishido-mura" (Taishido Village), but it came to be called "Sangen-jaya" (Sangen Tea House) because of the three tea houses where people stopped to rest on their way to Daisen-mairi (pilgrimage to the Daisen-Aburi Shrine in Kanagawa Prefecture). These teahouses were located at the junction of present-day Route 246 (Tamagawa-dori) and Setagaya-dori.

Sangenjaya had been crowded with people since the Edo period (1603-1867), and it further developed into a lively town with the opening of the current Setagaya Line in the Meiji period (1868-1912).

Sangenjaya "now".

The historic Sangenjaya has now evolved into a town overflowing with vitality and individuality. During the daytime, you can fully enjoy walking around the town, lined with stylish cafes, unique restaurants, and specialty bakeries. Before or after making your ring, you can find a store to suit your tastes and preferences. Our staff has many recommendations for stores, so please feel free to ask them for help.

At night, the area takes on a different look. Many taverns and bars are crowded, creating an energetic atmosphere that differs from that of the daytime.

Furthermore, the tourist information center "SANCHA3 (SANCHA Cube)" is located just outside the ticket gates of Sangenjaya Station, allowing first-time visitors to explore the city with ease.

Also, a landmark directly connected to the stationCarrot Towerhas an observation floor that is free of charge and offers a beautiful view. Along with the excitement of making rings, we recommend sharing memories while enjoying the wonderful view.

Spacious interior

MITUBACI TOKYO The main store is from the 4th to the 6th floor, and customers are built so that two sets of workshops can be held on the 4th floor and four sets on the 5th floor. The space is spacious so that the customers next to you do not bother you too much.

The sixth floor is dedicated to staff and contains large laser machines and engraving desks.

4th Floor

In addition to the workshop space for customers, the fourth floor also houses a machine called a lathe.

The lathe is used during the "turning" option.

This machine can be used to shave and shape the sides of the ring.

The table is designed to fit the lathe.

5th Floor

Spacious and bright space

The fifth floor is very bright with large white walls.

The machine with impressive gears installed just inside the entrance is a machine called a roller.

This is used by craftsmen to roll metal to prepare materials for rings.

Private Rooms Available

The workshop space on the 5th floor allows you to spend time alone with your partner without worrying about the eyes of other customers.one's own roomWe offer a The private space, separated by a door, allows you to concentrate on making your precious ring.

This is very popular with customers who "want to concentrate without worrying about their surroundings" or "are concerned about their small children." Please consider this if you are interested in enjoying a special time with us. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.

Private rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basisIf you would like to use this service, please let us know at the time of reservation.

6th Floor

The secret base for artisans, which enhances the perfection of rings, is the dedicated artisan floor on the 6th floor.

A large laser welder, a laser engraving machine, and an engraving desk that has been used for many years are lined up. The laser welding machine is used at MITUBACI to correct hand engraving and to assist in brazing. The laser engraving machine is used primarily to engrave text on the inside of rings. By having a laser engraving machine in the store, we are able to provide same-day delivery of any optional laser engraving or handwritten text that you choose to have laser engraved.

All machines and engraving desks are necessary to deliver rings with a higher degree of perfection.

Carving desk with special attention to detail

The craftsmen themselves designed the metal-carving desks used in the workshops. The craftsmen themselves raised their hands and meticulously designed the table in order to provide customers with the best ring-making experience possible.

As a result, this engraving desk isEasy to use for both customers and craftsmenThe shop is designed to be compact and to accommodate an excessive amount of tools, as shown in Fig. 1. Seats are arranged so that one craftsman can handle one set of customers, and the length of each tool is measured, a bullion holder of just the right size is considered, and the wiring for the router is calculated to fit.

When I built MITUBACI TOKYO 407 about five years ago, I had a carving desk calledEngraving desk used by craftsmenWe produced this product in accordance with the "I" concept. Later, as many customers came to the shop, we realized that since customers do not produce a wide variety of items like craftsmen, tools and utensils are more minimal and sufficient, and that a more compact desk size would allow for a larger space. This time, the main store has been designed to make the most of our experience.

We look forward to seeing you all!

We introduced the MITUBACI TOKYO main store, which has been powered up to serve more customers than ever before.

We plan to add more workshops to our menu and offer more options in the future.

We are also working on a prototype of a new design using the lathe as soon as possible. Please look forward to it.

We look forward to serving you all.
